Frequently Asked Questions

How do I get a catalog?  Starting in February we will begin catalog pre-sales. This will allow individuals to get their book hot off the presses. The catalogs will also be at a discounted rate during the pre-sale period. Once the catalog is available there will also be a direct download option to buy as well. This catalog will be a wealth of knowledge and we encourage everyone to purchase either a printed or digital copy. 

 

When can I start cooping rabbits? Cooping will run from 6 p.m. Thursday Oct. 15 to 6 p.m. Saturday Oct. 17. The showroom will be open 24-hours. All animals must be cooped and checked in by 6 p.m. Saturday evening. 

Where can I stay: Our committee has identified several areas hotels for our guests. Our two hosts, Best Western Premier Conference Center and Red Lion will have shuttle service to the showroom. Click on the accommodations tab to see all of the hotels and make reservations online. 

What if I want to camp? We will have camping sites available. Once they are ready this information will be posted online and sent out in an email blast. 


Will there be animals for sale? Yes. BUT All animals on the convention center grounds must be entered in the show. This includes the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex parking areas. 

When is the Entry Deadline? The entry deadline will be sometime in mid-September. Those dates will be released this summer

When does judging start? Breed judging will start taking place Sunday, October 18th.  Exact starting breeds will be announced closer to the date.

When do the meat classes get judged? We are working with the PA Farm Show Complex to hopefully be able to have the commercial classes held on Saturday, Oct. 17. We will release these details when they become available.  

 

When do youth have to be registered for the youth contests and royalty contests?  These dates are set by the ARBA Youth Committee.  Traditionally, the Youth Committee releases that information in late spring.  Please watch the ARBA website and Facebook page for that information. 

When do youth contests begin? Youth contest check-in will begin Friday, Oct. 16 with contests beginning Oct. 17.  The ARBA Youth Committee will provide further details in late spring.
